Our PA system solutions
More than just speakers
A public address system carries a voice, a bell or music from one point to speakers across a building or campus.
Schools use it for assemblies and period bells, hospitals for staff paging, factories for shift announcements, and offices and malls for background music and notices.

The parts of a PA system we install
Each space gets the speaker that suits it, all driven and controlled from one place.
Ceiling speakers
Flush speakers set into false ceilings, spreading sound evenly and staying out of sight.
Wall speakers
Box speakers mounted on walls where there is no false ceiling.
Horn speakers
Weatherproof speakers that throw sound over distance and background noise.
Column speakers
Tall, narrow speakers that direct speech along a long room with less echo.
Amplifiers
Mixer-amplifiers sized to the total speaker load, with headroom for adding speakers later.
Zone control
Selectors that send an announcement to one area, several, or all of them.
Paging microphones
Desk or console microphones with zone buttons and a chime before each announcement.
Background music
Music from a player or phone to chosen zones, at a level set for each area.
Emergency priority paging
An announcement that overrides music and zone settings to reach every speaker at once.

Clarity
The right speaker for each room and a sensible volume, so speech is not lost in echo.
Zones
Areas grouped the way you announce, so each message reaches only the people it is for.

Frequently asked questions
PA systems, answered
What does a PA system include?
Speakers suited to each area, an amplifier sized to those speakers, a paging microphone or console, zone control and the cabling between them. Background music sources and emergency priority can be added. We list each part in the quote.
Can I make an announcement to one floor only?
Yes. Zone control lets you page one floor, one wing, the playground or the whole building from the same microphone. We plan the zones around how you actually make announcements.
Why do some PA systems sound unclear even when they are loud?
Usually too few speakers turned up too high, or the wrong speaker for the room. More speakers at a lower volume, placed for even coverage, sound clearer and reduce echo in halls and corridors.
Which speakers work outdoors or in a factory?
Horn speakers. They are weatherproof and project sound over distance and background noise, so they suit assembly grounds, parking areas, yards and production floors.
Can the PA play music and still carry emergency announcements?
Yes. Background music can run in chosen zones, and emergency paging can be set to take priority and cut over the music on every speaker when it is used.
Can you extend or repair our existing PA system?
Often, yes. We check the amplifier capacity, speaker wiring and zones first, then add speakers or zones where the system can take them, or repair faulty speakers, cables and amplifiers.
