This policy explains what Dotin Security Systems collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to https://dotinsecuritysystems.in and to enquiries you send us through it.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through a form, plus a small amount of technical data:

• Contact details — your name, mobile number, and email address if you provide one.
• Site details — company name, premise type, the security requirements you select, site address, city and PIN code.
• Scheduling preferences — your preferred date and time slot for a site visit.
• Your message — anything you type into the enquiry field.
• Configuration data — if you use the cost calculator and request a quote, the configuration you built is attached to your enquiry.
• Technical data — your IP address, browser user agent, the page you enquired from, and campaign parameters if you arrived from an advertisement.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank details, Aadhaar or PAN numbers through this website.

Why we collect it

• To contact you about the enquiry you submitted and arrange a site visit.
• To prepare an accurate quotation for your premises.
• To provide warranty, service and maintenance support for systems we install.
• To detect and block automated spam submissions.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to third parties.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our warranty and tax obligations. If you would like your enquiry deleted, contact us using the details below and we will remove it, except where we are required to retain invoice records under Indian tax law.

Who can see it

Enquiries are accessible only to our own staff through a password-protected admin panel with individually named accounts. We do not outsource our installation or sales teams, so your details are not passed to contractors.

Cookies

This site uses a session cookie and a security token cookie that are necessary for forms to work and to protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site. Your theme preference, if you set one, is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to us.

Footage and installed systems

This policy covers the website only. Video footage recorded by a system we install is stored on your equipment, at your premises, under your control. We do not hold, access or retain copies of your footage. Where we provide remote support under a maintenance contract, access is granted by you and only for the duration of that support.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
