Complete access control solutions
More than a door lock
Keys get copied and registers get filled in later. Access control gives each person their own credential — a fingerprint, face, card or PIN — and records every time a door is opened.
When someone leaves, you remove them from the system instead of changing the lock. When something goes missing, you can see who entered which room, and when.

Frequently asked questions
Access control and biometrics, answered
What is an access control system?
It is a reader at the door, a controller that checks who is allowed in, and an electric lock that only releases for the right person. Each person has their own fingerprint, face, card or PIN, so you can add or remove someone without changing locks, and every entry is logged.
Which is better — RFID cards or biometric?
Cards are quick, cheap to replace and suit visitors and contractors, but they can be lent or lost. Fingerprint and face readers tie entry to the person, which is better for attendance and sensitive rooms. Many sites combine the two: cards for general doors, biometrics where it matters.
How many doors can one system control?
A standalone reader controls a single door. For more doors we use a door controller that manages several from one set of users and rules, and systems can be extended floor by floor. We size the controller to your door count, with room to add more later.
Can access control be installed on my existing door?
Usually, yes. Wooden, glass and metal doors can all take an electric lock, but the lock type depends on the door, the frame and which way it opens. We check each door on the survey and tell you if any need a bracket, a different lock or small changes to the frame.
What happens to the doors during a power cut?
Doors are planned so people can always get out: an exit button and an emergency break-glass release on the inside, and a backup power supply where the door must stay locked. We explain how each door behaves before installation.
Is our staff biometric data safe?
Most readers store a coded template of the fingerprint rather than an image, kept on the device or in your own software; some face readers also keep a photo, and we tell you which before you choose. We enrol only the people who need access, and we recommend you tell staff what is collected and how it is used before rolling it out.
Do you offer AMC for access control?
Yes. An annual maintenance contract covers reader cleaning, lock and exit-button checks, backup battery checks and software support, and repairs are handled by the same team that installed the system.
