Do you repair systems installed by another company?
Yes. We repair systems other installers fitted as well as our own. We work across the common camera and recorder brands, and tell you if a part is no longer available for an older model.
One camera shows "No Video". What is wrong?
Usually the power adapter, a loose or corroded connector, or damaged cable — less often the camera itself. We test each in turn so you do not pay for a camera you did not need.
My recorder shows the cameras but is not recording. Why?
The most common causes are a failed or unformatted hard disk, or recording settings that reset after a power cut. The recorder usually shows a disk error or a missing recording icon.
Mobile viewing stopped working after we changed our internet. Can you fix it?
Yes. A new router or internet provider often breaks remote access. It is usually a settings fix on the recorder and in the app rather than new hardware.
How much does a CCTV repair cost?
It depends on the fault and whether a part is needed. We diagnose first and tell you what failed and what the repair will cost before doing it.
Can you repair it the same day?
Many faults — connectors, adapters, settings and app issues — are often fixed on the first visit. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you which and why before going ahead.
Will an AMC stop this happening again?
It will not prevent every fault, but scheduled visits catch failing disks, loose connectors and dirty lenses before they cost you footage.
