Questions worth asking any CCTV company
Straight answers about cost, coverage, storage and what happens after installation — including the questions most vendors avoid.
Cost and packages
Our packages start at ₹14,999 for a 2-camera system and run to ₹29,999 for 6 cameras, with larger sites quoted after the survey. Those rates include the cameras, recorder, hard disk, cabling and installation. The final figure is confirmed after a free site survey, because cable runs and mounting conditions vary between buildings.
Usually because of what is left out. A low quote often excludes cabling, the hard disk, or uses a lower camera resolution. Ask any vendor for a written device schedule listing make, model and quantity — that makes quotes comparable.
We issue a proper GST invoice on every job. Please confirm the tax treatment on your written quotation before accepting.
Cameras and coverage
Fewer than most people are sold. Start by listing every way someone could enter — main door, back door, terrace access, parking gate. Each of those needs a camera. A typical independent house works out at three to four positions; an apartment is usually one or two.
2MP tells you someone was there. 4MP is where you can begin to identify who it was and read a number plate at gate distance. If the footage needs to work as evidence rather than reassurance, 4MP is the single best upgrade.
All our cameras have infrared night vision, which produces black and white footage. Colour night vision models keep clothing colour and number plates readable after dark, and are worth it at gates and entrances.
Footage and storage
That depends on the hard disk size, camera count and resolution. Thirty days is a sensible minimum — you usually discover a problem well after it happened. Our cost calculator shows exactly how much storage your setup needs.
Yes, mobile viewing is set up and tested before we leave site, and it is included in every package at no extra cost.
Only you. Footage is recorded to your own equipment at your premises. We do not hold or retain copies. We change default passwords at handover and give you the credentials.

Storage
Deployment
This retention needs more capacity than a single recorder holds. We would design this with a dedicated NAS or RAID tier — included in the survey.
At this scale we recommend a site survey before finalising — switch capacity, UPS backup and cable routing materially change the design.
Estimates only. Final specification is confirmed after the free site survey.
After installation
Two years on supplied equipment, covering manufacturing defects. Damage from lightning, flooding or vandalism is not covered — that is standard across the trade, and worth checking on any quote you receive.
Call us. We service what we install, and we also repair systems put in by other vendors. An annual maintenance contract covers scheduled servicing and faster response.
Not immediately, but systems degrade quietly — a camera drifts out of focus, a disk fills up, retention silently drops from thirty days to eleven. An AMC catches those on a scheduled visit rather than on the day you need footage.
Still have a question?
Talk to someone who installs these systems, not a call-centre agent. The site survey is free and there is no obligation.
